Subject: RE: NYT op ed "learning from Lance"I was listening to the radio on the ride into work yesterday and Howard Stern (who I think is hysterical and listen to daily) was kind of knocking Lance. I need to add to this by saying I TOTALLY DISAGREE with Howerd on this one. He said that it's funny seeing Sheryl Crow at the finish line holding his kids when they aren't even hers and how the kids are so young, which means Lance didn't waste any time leaving his wife for her. That led to the conclusion that everyone thinks he has all these values because he's a cancer survivor and an awesome athlete but in reality he's kind of selfish because he ditched his wife for a hot celebrity chick! Like I said, this is just the opinion of some radio personality and not my own. As far as Lance running for office, I don't know anything about him other than the fact he's a great athlete. Is that enough to earn my vote? Nope. I've got all the respect for him in the world in terms of his philanthropy and his abilities on a bike, but that doesn't qualify him to run our country (not that he's talking about running for president).
