So Ghoulies... tell me what you would do if it were to be hot this afternoon and you wanted to take ice pops for your soccer team. Here's what my genius had me do. We had a 3 gallon water bottle that was cracked at the top, so we weren't really using it anymore. I cut off the top of the bottle, without cutting myself and I filled the bottle with water, then put it in the chest freezer. I placed the already frozen ice pops in the water. This morning it was all frozen solid. I'm hoping that by putting it in a cooler it will stay cold long enough to have the ice pops still mostly frozen for after the soccer game. I've got 24 pops and 6 kids. My sons team is playing tonight, too, so he asked if they could have ice pops after the game. Being the cool mom that I am I said "yes". I need to remember to take a pair of scissors along to cut the plastic tops off. Here's hoping it works! |

We did not get to have it. My son and I will filling them up yesterday, and 2 of them leaked and 2 others didn't work. So out of the 6 squirt guns only 2 worked. We were both pretty disappointed. I paid $1 a piece for them, you get what you pay for. |

Champion 6656 | Subject: RE: The Ghoulies are swimmin' like the fishies in June!!! Morning. I'm chilling. Went to hang out with my friend in Vancouver yesterday. We ended up at her other friend's house and the friend's bf made dinner for everyone! He is a chef at a fancy restaurant in Van and made us Paella...or how I normally spell it Payaya. Haha. Neal made fun of my spelling yesterday...payayayayayaya...haha. :P It was so yummy! Yum yum yum. Finishing off some random packing things. Then off to the lab eventually and I'll drive down to Seattle once that is done! I'm heading out of town and the Canucks Stanley Cup series starts tonight...I don't know if I am sad or happy to head out when the game is playing. Haha. |

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: The Ghoulies are swimmin' like the fishies in June!!! Okay, the word is that the library will have to close one day a week before the year is out. No jobs are at risk, it is due to the hiring freeze and the loss of staff through attrician, so it is good for the budget. The crappy thing is, rumor says the day would be Friday. That would SUCK!!! If we close Fridays, than all staff would have to work either Sunday or Saturday and NEVER have a full weekend off. SCREAM!!! |
