Subject: RE: Oly recovery time I would say that it is way too hard to give a specific time to recover. So much is invloved, such as hard hard the course was, how prepared you were, your nutrition, before, during and after, how old you are, th elevel of intensity you raced at, what have you done since then, enough sleep, enough hydration. I could go on and on. I will however say that, personally, given a workout/race of 3 hours, the next day I rest(no exercise), then the 2nd day, I would swim or easy bike ride, then 3rd day be back to an avg. workout, not a hard workout, but back to somewhat normal. Then, after day 3, back to normal workouts. With that said, some people might take a a week or more to fully recover. |
