Anyone else registered to go?  I"m in the 2:30 heat.

Though it appears a little less "serious" we are given time chips....a lot of serious atheletes and definitely some "not so serious!"  Cool

Your work group?  Tell me your not one of the Tacoma Steckly crew.......Cool  I hear they are sending a large contingent.  And engineers don't drink beer!

I don't know what it is with engineers lately...there were three teams at the relay at Guelph Lake I from Stantec....

No engineers in our group, I am with Milwaukee Electric Tool.

However I know that the group does not pass on beer very often! Laughing

That was by far the toughest 5km run I've ever done...well...5.3km...  So used to the nice flat runs with the odd hill thrown in, and gentle rolling grades.......this was a big wake up!   The obstacles were actually a time where you could rest a bit and be more technical to get through them quick and efficiently.  The entire course was in the side of a ski hill at Horseshoe Valley Resort.  There was maybe 500m of flat grade the entire course... 33:28.20   As if it means anything as the course is a complete original...

???www.warriordash.com/results    if you ran it and want to see how you did!

Finished 83 in my age group 35-39.  728 overall.  What a blast.  For anyone who wants a real challengeing run, this would be it!

Now....concentrate on Guelph Lake II and Lakefield....back to Tri reality!

34.38 for a fun run!

First in the work group (by a minute... and 18 years which caused some fun in the office!) and 39/200+ in the age group 45-49.

I had a riot and enjoyed myself, as you say now back to the more serious stuff!

I heard about this after the fact from someone who said it was an amazing time.  Lots of fun...saw there were over 9000 participants and this was the first time in Ontario. (youngest - age 14, oldest - 80 years old!)  It's not posted yet if they will return in 2012 but I hope to do it.  With that many participants I would say it was a success!
