Where are the good trails around Vernon? New to the area and looking for good places to run.

Welcome to the Okanagan.  I'm not familiar with Vernon (living in Penticton) but I would just go to any running store and talk to anyone.  There should be some pretty good trails.

There is, or was, a store called 'the starting block'. They sponsor at least one local running event, a 10 k I believe.

There is a tri club called Kal Rats, google for website.

An area running group that was friendly when I was visiting is called Vernon Pacers... Hope this helps a bit.
