Seems like ALOT, and I'm just judging from all the commercials for these shows. What gives? |

I had to suggest to my wife she pick one or two to watch because I was feeling saturated with 5-nights-a-week crime/law stories (even if I were doing something else). Sort of a mental health issue. |

Crossing Jordan There are 3 Law and Order (L&O, Special Victims Unit and Criminal Intent) and 3 CSI (the original in Las Vegas, Miami and NY) - the 4th L&O got cancelled. Grad school is taking away all my TV-watching time.....the only new one I'm paying any attention to is Bones and that's because I have a thing for David Boreanez (sp) from Buffy... |

Lara - 2005-10-07 2:27 PM yuck! it's all corporate business.. they find a business model that works well and they stick with it until we are sick of it.. right now it seems to be the crime dramas where a lot of the central charachters are drop dead gorgeous girls in skin tight clothing who run around at crime sceens in 4" heels and white pants suits.. yeah.. i know that MY wordrobe of choice if i'm going to be digging around in the mud looking for stuff.. I like some of the shows, but enough is enough. There are a few good new ones though - Earl and The Office are pretty funny. |

This is typical TV the crime drama will die out over the next couple of season's and a different one will become king like medical, spy, military, comedy, western, etc, and spawn a ton of copy cat programs. |
