I just finished my first tri last weekend, and was understandably pumped to get the professional pictures taken during the race. How surprised was I, then, when the face staring back at me wasn't mine! There were two pictures, one correct, one that wasn't. They are both exiting the swim, but don't even have the same colored swim cap. Even worse, the guy doesn't look much like me...he's significantly older, balding, and, um..."bigger boned"! While the one of me is pretty good, it is kinda depressing that the other one got mistaken for me. I had to laugh, though, and might order the other one as well just for the funny.

What has occurred during your race day or the aftermath that you just couldn't help laughing about?

Every once in a while, the professional photographers will even capture your "feminine" side....

Hehe, hey at least you didn't unintentionally flash the race photographer because you thought it would be a *Great* idea to store a gel in the front of your swim suit. Ahhh newbie screw ups.

And some tend to capture the "masculine" side of me:  http://www.asiorders.com/view_user_event.asp?EVENTID=7717&BIB=422

Those were great. It's like the song says, "One of these things is not like the others..."

Funny you posted this.  I just looked at my pics from Stonebridge Ranch.  At first I was thinking to myself :

"Wow, G, you have really dropped some pounds and muscled up a little bit.  And the running stride looks great."

Upon further review, wasn't me.  Just some guy who looks to be in much better shape than me.  I guess that I got quite a few mixed up.  But they did have 3 pics that really were me.  Which only made it worse, because then I could compare myself to the really fit looking guy.
