That was a good game! I was so suprised that I went on a bike ride then watched IMAZ, took a nap then sat down to eat and saw the game on in the 18th inning! I got to watch the end, I was so excited! Not too many people in my corner since I live in Atlanta, but the Astros are still my team.

I missed the game.  Too bad for the Braves.  Their string of season dominance and post-season disappointment continues.  Congratulations to the Astros and good luck to them against the Cardinals.

The Braves continue to the be the brides maid. Maybe one day they will actually figure out you cant depend on the HR and a bullpen is a good thing. Good luck 'stros.

That...was...AWESOME. Had to work during the game, but was able to watch the last few innings...could it be any more dramatic? Well, maybe if, in the at-bat right before Burke's, Clemens had gotten hold of that pitch where he almost fell down and won his own game...but that's about it. As Pettite said, if he had done that, they would just have to close shop on baseball, because it wouldn't get any more dramatic than that. One more time!

And has anyone seen the HEB commercial with Clemens and Pettite in football gear, "welcoming" David Carr to the HEB team by sacking him as he gets ready to do a commercial with them? I haven't laughed that hard in a while. The determined look on Pettite's face, the serious way he nods his head, his complete silence...all of it just made me lose it.

We'll give you a couple days of glory, but then, they come to St. Louis, where we are ready to win it all after last year's drama.

GO CARDINALS!!!!
