Subject: Not Sure That is the 'Original'...Unless someone knows differently, the 'original' IMC was put together by Brad Kearns in the early 90's when Cytosport & Champion were a single company and it was (3 ) scoops of Cytomax & (3 ) scoops of Metabolol Endurance. This concentration is relatively thick so I cannot imagine adding another scoop of both Cytomax & Met Endurance and putting in MCT oil & gel.
We have been recommending the Iron Cocktail for nearly a decade and have since adjusted the mixture slightly to include (2 ) scoops Cytomax, (2 ) scoops Metabolol Endurance and (3 ) scoops Carbo Pro. The purpose of the adjustment was that many athletes felt the original mixture was a little too thick (myself included ), so by substituting Carbo Pro we were able to reduce the osmolality while maintaining calorie concentration.
