I said it early in the season, I'll say it again now. Fire Jeff Bowden!! The man is incapable of making game time adjustments. My FSU Seminoles have been out coached two weeks in a row. Last year Jeff's excuse was Chris Rix. This year it's a freshman QB, even though that freshman is a redshirt and leading the ACC in pass yardage. What will it be next year.

He stinks, My 'Noles will not be successful again with him as OC. If Bobby won't get rid of him, and the AD or Prez won't force Bobby to get rid of him...hold your breath Seminole nation...maybe it's time for Bobby to retire. (Ask yourself this, Jeff has been an FSU coach for 14 years, wide receivers coach for 10, OC for 4, but has never been approached for a head coaching job at any level...Why not?)

Ughhhhhhh!!!!!

I'd have to concur...look at player development, Miami were in the same boat at the start of the season with a freshman QB, he seems to be doing rather well whereas Weatherford is abysmal. Rix was also good until JB got his hands on him...i'm not convinced that Mickey Andrews is a great coach either, for all the talent and speed they seem to get beat deep early and often, not to mention poor tackling. Time for some changes or those FLA recruits will be heading to the Gators/Miami or out of state!

Bump!
Alright Gator Nation you clearly get bragging rights for the next year. But to all you Seminole fans (Motivated) here is a terrifying stat: This year FSU has only scored 28 points or more against teams that have a combined record of 15-40. A quote from the Tallahassee Democrat: " FSU no longer has an offensive identity... There aren't enough excuses to absolve Jeff Bowden of Saturday's performance."

I predict that we will loss the final 5 games of the season, that means lossing the ACC championship game and whatever third tier bowl game we go to. I also predict that we will score a total of 2 offensive tocuhdowns in both of those games.

Even the Democrat has turned against Jeff, the only person that doesn't see the obvious is Bobby. If Bobby won't do anything, maybe it's time that Dave Hart or T.K. Weatherall step and and do something. If they won't maybe it's time fot the old man to go. Jeff Bowden has single handedly destroyed one of the best football prgrams of all times.

Well, I hope that FSU has at least one more bad game. Go Hokies.

Man, this is just too painful.  When I even let myself consider the thought that Bobby should retire, I think about Jo Paterno and all the chatter about him the last few years.  Look at Penn State now.

Jeff Bowden needs to be relieved of his duties as OC.  I sure wish the University could find a way to navigate through this minefield, getting rid of Jeff while keeping Bobby and the rest of his staff on for a few years.  We need to find another OC on the order of Mark Richt.

I've seen the program go through quite a few ups and downs.  The loss to the Gators this weekend ranks up there with the loss to Oklahoma back in the 2000 Orange Bowl.  It was a very winnable game, but one where the coaches lost the contest for the players.  Yes, there were some significant injuries for the O-line, but that doesn't excuse the inability of the coaching staff to adjust the game strategy to help Weatherford.

You know, the person that needs to "strap them on" is Jeff.  Instead of continually dragging his father's legacy down, he should make the hard decision and step down.  Bobby will never fire his son.  But, could you imagine what Bobby would do if he were in Jeff's position?  Out of honor, he'd submit his resignation tomorrow.

I'm not ready to call for Daddy's head, but I sure hope he see's the logic in finding another role for his son.  That's probably the hardest thing he'll ever have to do in his coaching career, but I would imagine that both FSU and Jeff will be better of because of it.

Worst of all, I'm worried about what this does to our recruiting prospects for the upcoming year.  We've got a lot of holes to fill and we need a quarterback.  God help the Seminoles.
