In our intro thread, some of us posted goals and some didn't so, I figured we could be official on this, the first day of the challenge.

So here's my stuff:

STARTING WEIGHT: 180.8
LAST WEEK: n/a
THIS WEEK: 180.8
WEIGHT LOSS THIS WEEK: n/a
TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS FOR CHALLENGE: n/a

GOAL FOR THIS CHALLENGE: 14 lbs.

If I drop down to 166.8, I'll be within 10 lbs of my end goal!!! (Hooray for tall, big-boned women!) Whoopee. I'll be posting starting and ending BF%, but I need to take some measurements first, so I'll drop that in later this week.

Next???????

He's 29 years old.

Have a great week!

Hi guys!  I just joined the challenge and am the newest member of the Super Bon Bons! (Gee, never thought I would refer to myself as a Bon bon!)   My name is Sonya and I live in Atlanta, Georgia.  (Now home to the world's largest aquarium as of 11/23/05)  I am married and have two beautiful girls ages 4 and 6.  I have been a stay at home mother with a part-time job at a restaurant for a while.  I am in the midst of getting a real estate license.

I got interested in Triing last year, but didn't think I could do it.  Registered for the Danskin Orlando in an effort to motivate myself - you know - paid the $$ now work out!  I worked out some, but not like I should have.  I did do the Danskin and finished although I was VERY slow.  Then fell off the exercise horse, stopped even thinking about exercise.  I did walk the Peachtree here in Atlanta on July 4 (10k about 50,000 people  or so) but that is about it.  Now I want to try again - exercising and losing weight so that I can do Danskin again in May and do it faster.

My goal for the challenge is 12 pounds.

My current weight is 215.6 (this morning) down from 227  about a month ago.  So my goal weight will be 204.  I don't have any measurements or BMI, if I can figure it out, I will post it.

I have not been using the exercise log here but will try to start.  Thanks for letting me join. - S

Oh no you didn't.  Now, for the month of December, I'm going to have to add another set after my cool down.  A nice little 500 yard BD (beat dana) should do the trick. Sealed

I got the dates mixed up in my head and so I've adjusted my goal for the challenge from what I posted yesterday. I was thinking for some reason that the timeframe was shorter. duh me!

I don't know my body fat right now and frankly don't want to know. I may do some measurements this weekend. Those are always good.

Have a great, and healthy, weekend!!

Is it too late to change my goal? I think I may have been a little conservative, so I'd like to change my goal weight for the end of this challenge from 145 to 140. Go big or go home, I say. :-) I'll also take some measurements this weekend.

I wish I had loftier goals but I have yet to ever lose weight in that 1-2lb/week rate.. My end goal is 125 by July (for wedding). But for me it's more about the wiggly-jiggly stuff. My ultimate goal is to firm up all that loose stuff. I will try to get measurements posted in the next couple days or so...ugh.

GOOD LUCK ALL!!

Hey, I just realised that as the Super Bon Bons, we actually have a theme song! Anyone here a fan of Soul Coughing? Super Bon Bon is their Irresistible Bliss album

Looks like we're off to a good start everyone, a few more people and we should have a full roster for week zero!

I measured but don't have the numbers handy. I'd be happy to get down to mid-170's in the next 11 weeks. My overall goal is to lose 100 pounds..it has been 2.5 years thus far but I'm motivated to really push hard this winter to lose the rest. I'm excited to have lost weight I'm in 9 sizes smaller than when I started. I can wear size 12 jeans...woohoo!! I do feel so much better and the Paleo diet seems to be helping lose my belly fat that I have sturggled to lose since I had twins 16 years ago.

Since your from the land of hockey, I have to make sure you do realize that swimming is NOT something that is done on a FROZEN pond with metal blades on your feet, eh?

I'd include measurements but I'm terribly inconsistant with a tape measure...that or I totally rock and can drop 4" off my butt in like 5 mins...highly doubtful unless it fell off or something.  But anyway...I'd like to get below 200 lbs on this challenge.
