in Jacksonville....what to do???

I live in Orange Park, so I don't go downtown that often. Also, my social life is non-existent (at least at home!) so I may not be the best person to ask. Having said that...

Take a look around the Landing, there are a few good expense account-style restaurants down-town (Ruth's Chris, Charter House, etc.). For night life, riding, running, head out to the beaches. There are a good number of bars, a big variety of food, and you can go up to Hanna Park for MTBing/trail running, or down south to Ponte Vedra for some nice rides/runs along the beachfront roads. If you want a little road trip, the lights are up in St. Augustine.

Edit: for swimming, there's a great, free Cecil Aquatics Center out to the west side near Cecil Field (that's where I work and swim).
