Yeah- I have a few of those actually.  Sometimes I get cornered in my cubicle by an annoying coworker and they'll stand in the doorway for too long yammering about something I don't even care about or need to know.  So my trick is to click on something- an email, document, anything- I'm just depserate and print it.  And then I jump up and say "I have to get something off the printer."  And then I escape.  Until next time...

who is just bound and determined to irritate you every day??  the one who you beleive is a good person underneath but for some reason they just HAVE to make everyone's lives harder??

sigh..  it's one of THOSE days..

I like to irritate coworkers but not with the intent of making their days harder. Its just part of my fabric to make the day go faster. I wouldnt say I impede their efforts, just try and help us all get through the day. Is that the same thing?

Actually it's this guy who dresses in all black spandex, and asks everyone to call him "Black Spandex Man."

Try working in close quarters for 24 hours with a couple pf them. I always win though, last night I put half a bag of flour in his bed sheets. We get a call for some old man with chest pain and he walks into the house with flour all over him. The mans wife asked why he was cooking at two in the morning. Classic.

possibly..  in this case we have someone who is VERY knowlegeable on almost everything (they have been here over 20 years.. and i've seen them demonstarte incredible capability)..  but anytime ANYBODY asks them for clarification on ANYTHING or if they are done with something they claim ignorace or get snappy..  i just see someone who could be so incredibly helpful to those around them..  and instead they make everything harder

I irritate more by being annoying versus trying to hinder coworkers efforts. Plus I buy them booze from time to time and vice versa.

I alway sort of assumed that there existence was mandated by a law of nature.  Kind of like the Laws of Stupidity.
