Subject: Sleep eating
Though I am pretty sure I am not the only one here who has done this, I just can't figure it out. I have been cutting waaaaaay back on the sugar as of this year. Once or twice a week this unseen presence wakes me up and leads me to the kitchen where I somehow find a stash of hershey kisses. I don't remember a thing. The next morning on my way to the gym or work there is a pile of candy wrappers laying on the counter. The weirdest thing. Anyone have a similar expierience? Or am I going crazy.

My kids haven't realized that they don't get in as much trouble if they get rid of the evidence.

Um, yes, this happens to me quite frequently. There is this thing called night eating syndrome. Truly. Google it. I've been known to make pb&j sandwiches and not remember it in the morning. Weird huh?

Embracing insanity is much easier than fighting it.  At least that's what the voices in my head tell me.

I find it funny that this syndrome seems to target the really "good" food like PB&J, or Hershey's Kisses. I don't hear anyone saying they find the cut ends of carrots on the counter in the morning.

That's another one,  good ol peanut butter. I have been known to get a couple spoonfuls of PB during the night. Why can't it be a yogurt or a damn apple.

It has to be quiet food, so as not to disturb you from your slumber. A crunchy apple or carrot would surely wake you up. Then we couldn't blame our insanity on our night time binges. The yogurt I don't have an answer for. Somebody please plug the holes in my theory...

Quiet foods I understand, but I can't believe I have the damn patience to unwrap those little kisses when I don't when I am awake. It's funny. Hope I am not eating some of the foil, lol.

LOL...good point. What I can't get is how I stir the separated oil and peanut butter in my sleep. Blasted pb...I must not keep it in the house anymore. Then maybe I'll just stay in bed at night, and not have to run an extra 6 miles to work it off!
