The run was fun, I ran with a lady who placed 2nd in her age group last year.
What would you do differently?:

I just started training for a marathon so my weekly miles were on the low side leading up to this event.

Warm down:

Sat around for 1 hour waiting on awards and stuffing my face with pancakes.



What limited your ability to perform faster:

Lack of training and lack of training on hills.

yeah the gun time was 1:45 my watch time was 1:43

Good job.  I've run Topeka to Auburn and the first part is definitely not for wimps.  The weather can be a bear too!  Looks like a positive upside for your marathon training if you are at this point early in your training :-)

Do they have any 2 mile indoor races with a chili feed afterwards? I am ALL on that one (except the 2 mile running part)
