Comments:

Unbelievably bad race! Not due to performance, but due to the lack of smarts in the race. Went out way to fast...almost as if it was my first marathon. Very very disappointed in my thought process. Not a mistake to be duplicated.

What would you do differently?:

Run within my scheduled abilities. With Ironman facing me, I knew, intellectually, that the RACE was in April, not the marathon in January. With all that data, I still ran a pace that was unsustainable.
