Comments: This was my first transition changing into bike shoes. I use this time to cool down from the run. I should start trying to go quicker in the transitions What would you do differently?: I need to get slip on laces for my running shoes. Bike
Comments: I definately did better against the wind. What would you do differently?: On the first section South, I never got comfortable with a pace against the wind. Transition 2
Comments: I need slip on she strings. I need to cool down on the bike. and again as soon as I get to transition Run
Comments: Not nearly as hard as last time. I took 4 minutes off of my last time. My conditioning is getting better. What would you do differently?: I may need to try and sprint up to speed to get the joints moving and then get back to pace? Post race Warm down: walked to end of parking lot and tried to keep moving What limited your ability to perform faster: Conditioning and weight. Event comments: The Webster Duathlon series are great competitive races. They are great for newbies who want to challenge themselves to get better. Last updated: 2006-03-13 12:00 AM |
