could this really be this simple?  Here I am gradually increasing my running, have not had any injuries since I began last fall.  (knock on wood).  So a couple of weekends ago I set up a new trampoline I bought for the kiddies (ebay - what a deal).  I was on it both days over this last weekend with them, then Sun afternoon I go for my run.  I had heel pain.  I immediately dreaded that it was the plantar fascitis I've read so much about.  So I read this at heelspurs.com:

Causes of heel pain include inadequate flexibility in the calf muscles, lack of arch support, being overweight, suddenly increasing activity, and spending too much time on the feet.

I'm thinking/hoping/praying that my pain is simply from using/overusing unused muscles to display my mad trampoline skillz to my kids.  Anyone else experience anything like this?  Or am I just wishful thinking (about the pain, not my skillz)?

I tend to think you get exhausted too quickly on the trampoline, and hence don't prolong your exercise for very long. It probably isn't the trampoline. Back in my youth we spent hours on that thing and it didn't hurt us. Oh, by the way... be sure that the trampoline is new, or in REALLY good condition. Your kids will get bigger, and if they are as gymnastic as we were, they probably will hurt themselves trying a double flip.
