Subject: Shook the funk

It's been a long "few weeks Off"  between achilles troubles, hoildays and tons of overtime.  Well five months later, I have broken the cycle.  Training is becoming steady again and I have desire back.  Now to get rid of this ~14 pounds of belly

Outstanding.  I'm in the same boat.... I've gotten a grip on my diet but need to get back on my exercising.

Great job!

I took off 8 months and now I'm just starting to get back in the groove, the first week sucks lol

I can officially say I have shook (shaken?) the funk too!

How did you overcome the achilles BS? I'm still fighting it (and I think I have it in the other foot now too) and I took four months completely OFF! The only thing I have to show for it is a return to weak cycling ability and a fat belly.

I took time off and ate chips.  I did a little walking and then a little running.  Ever now and again I get a "twang" when i am not doing anything and it's slow when I first get up.  My thoughts are I am going to have a little problem forever, but at least my heart and blood will keep moving!
