hello - everyone

looking for some help in the water - -anybody suggest a high quality video to learn freestyle?   I'm doing the breast stroke now (it's a fail, I know) but with a Half-Iron coming in June, I need to step up.  Any help would be appreciated greatly!

thanks

Rich

I've heard really good reviews of the Total Immersion series (DVDs and books).

I've got the Total Immersion book and like it very much.  It makes total sense to me but putting it is practice is harder than reading the book.  It would be very nice to have someone w/ that philosophy teach.

Hi Rich, I am just getting started myself and training for a HIM for September. I am not a good swimmer but I started about 12 weeks ago and I think the best thing you can do for yourself is to go get some lessons. I don't think I could have made the progress I have without them. I don't think there is any substitute for having someone watching you and giving you constructive feedback. I think this was the best thing I could have done for myself. I have one more week left and I feel like I have turned the corner. I am now working on my speed and endurance. I have made a lot of progress. Good luck with your HIM.
