Prince George Triathlon

I haven't done the PG Tri but I have been in the lakes up in the PG area.  By July 15th they should be fairly warm provided we get some consecutive days of sunshine just before the day of the event.

I've been swimming in Bowron lake (east of Quesnel) in June and it was really nice but the last time I was there it was REALLY cold in mid July.

Stride and Glide Sports in PG is involved with the triathlon maybe contact them and see what they say about it.

I was actually considering entering the Sprint but I'm not sure I can get there in time.  I'm registered in the Penticton GranFondo on the 8th and then in a few days we're heading up to PG to visit family.  Not sure I'll be ready for another event in 7 days.

It should be a fairly friendly event.
