Subject: RE: Double Your Mileage ChallengeLittle bit left in July, but I have no numbers to add to my run (pulled a calf muscle on July first and just now thinking I may be able to start running) and have 150 road miles in July so far, about 40% of what I had hoped to do. The next six weeks may turn that around, need some miles in to prepare for a personal challenge - ride my bike to men's retreat and hopefully raise money to "sponsor" some men who couldn't afford to go. The ride looks like it will be about 85-90 miles and over 6000 ft of climbing - starting at 5475 and ending over 9200 ft. would be nice to drop 15 to 20 lbs prep'ing for it too. |
