wow - but I don't thing the wetsuit really prevented her from having worse injuries. Unless it was a 3 or 5 mm suit. My tri wetsuit is very thin and only thermally protective. Not mad-otter-bite protective!

Next to a big lake

That is my "home lake"  other than the big cold one next door.  The local team swims there all the time with no issues the lake is big, 8000 acres.  There is a race this coming weekend and the lady in the story is entered.  Race is in a different area.  Should be a great event.

Wonder how much it would take to have the announcer play a certain theme song at the start?
