Lisa, I am glad you added this.  I was talking to Scott last night and I told him if he came up for IMKS next year I would do a race in Wichita.  If you had to pick one, what would it be?  Prefer longer course with an open water seim.  TIA!

I am biased, but Mudwater. My tri club runs it. They cap it at 200 or 250 participants - Olympic is 2-loop swim in Lake Afton, 1 loop bike course in farm land (only one little hill), and 2-loop run in the park grounds.

I hear El Dorado is a good race, too - but I haven't done it.

It has historically sold out, with the exception of last year. Probably because it was on Father's Day weekend due to some weird planning.

I want to say they open registration near the first of the year?

I love that the website says that it's open, but no go for actual registration.

Would have thought after last year things would be run a bit tighter. Oh well, I wonder when voting will start on the race tshirt contest?

Weirdness with the KC Tri.  Now their facebook page is down? I wonder if this race is going to happen. It's still up on the 5i50 website as tenantive but no where else. Strange.
