okay i've got two races that I've got coming up, Cinco 8/27 and another one happening in Oct. When i go to my race log, they are listed as drafts.

So when I look at my calender with the training data, planned or actual, i don't see the little R sign on the race days? What gives? What do I need to do to make it show up?

much thanks!

Eric

The way it's done now, it shows up after it's done.  We should change the code a little so it just shows up whenever.  I will get back to this thread when it's done.

I just came across this limitation today.  I have my training entered leading up to my "A" race next August, but I'm trying to figure out where I need to do some "semi-tapering" for my "B" and "C" events.  Short of a code change, is there anything I can do to get the races to appear on my "planned training" calendar view?

Many thanks!

I think we'll all have to wait for the code change/update on this one, but I am eager to see how it looks once it's set!!

Cheers, -Sunny

Ahh...I see what happen...we have the planned races showing up in the minicalendar as green which wasn't done before, but we have to transfer that to the calendar view too....

Oh, you're right, I didn't notice that before - that's pretty cool!

Just kind of thinking out loud here: what would you folks think about having the color coding of the mini-calendar show on the Planned Calendar view? The color key could be put at the bottom of the page. Would it be helpful? Redundant? Too cluttered?

Just my personal opinion, but I think that the calendar views are great in that they are visually simple yet convey a ton of information.  I think that color coding the boxes would be redundant.  The only thing I've found to be missing (and I've only just noticed it) is that the future-dated races don't appear.

In general, the calendar view has become my primary view for planned training.  I print it out at the beginning of the month and hang it on the wall in my office, and I refer to it at least once a day.

Some small color coded key would be nice. That's my take....

Your planned race shows up now in the planned calendar - also 'drafts' show up in you 'actual' calendar.
