Subject: New Projects Design (would like your input)I have two different style of coat racks done with late 1800's / early 1900's door knobs. One is 4 wire braided in a straight line with holes drilled and counter sunk for the screw heads at 16" on center, but each door knob was wire brushed clean and then the entire thing was clear coated. The other is a similar braided wire, but this time bent in a v shape. I also left the knobs as they were when I removed them from the old doors. I have not clear coated this one yet, but I will when I have enough time to heat a portion of my garage enough to paint. The first one has 6 coats of clear.

I know some of you have already purchased things from me and would like your input. I am out of this style of door knob, but I have been trying to get more from some people doing demos. The problem is most people throw them in the scrap or trash. Do you like the straight or the "V" ? Do you like the cleaner or patina? |
