Subject: 70.3 Bike Aid Stations

Are there bathrooms at every aid station? I am thinking I will have to go on the bike and I would really prefer using an actual porta potty - not my bike or a bush on the side of the road!

How are the aid stations laid out? Can I pull over, go to the bathroom, and grab some water?

So I have realized, the longer the race the earlier I get stressed out! Right now I am fixated on this bathroom situation. Great!

The WTC aid stations usually have port-a-pottys at every aid station on the bike.  The pottys will be at the very end of the aid station.

Look for the athlete guide for the current or prior year or email the race director.  There is no "standard" for how porta potty's are placed on the course.  It's completely up to the race and race director how he/she wants to do it.
