Pre-race routine:

Race began at 7:15. Got up at 5:00a.m., had a banana and an english muffin with peanut butter, sipped on water and gatorade till the race.
Event warmup:

Did not warm due to mechanical problems with bike. 15 minutes before my wave started, I noticed air leaking from my front tire. Bad valve stem. By the time I got it changed, I was barely able to make it to the starting line before my age group started.

good swim for me. kept bumping into the same person, I don't know if I kept swimming into them or they kept swimming into me. Once we got seperated, swim went very fast.

First race, did not want to push myself to hard, definately had more left in me. Could have pushed it harder on the bike segment.
