Well, I have to pay college tuition unexpectedly this semester so my baby is up for sale:

2009 Argon 18 E-114- $1800.00

For sale is a 2009 Argon 18 E-114 Time Trial/Triathlon bike. This bike, designed and engineering in Canada, is wicked fast. This bike won design honors when it was first introduced. It was fast then and it is still fast today.

The bike is a size small, but will fit someone up to 6' tall (I am 5' 11" and rode it as it is currently set up). The frame is entirely carbon fiber so it is super stiff and responsive. The bike is used but is still in very good shape 8.5/10. As with any used bike there are a few cosmetic scratches, but nothing is structurally wrong with it. I raced this bike in New Mexico so it never saw rain but suffered some scratches on the outer edge of the basebar because of being blown off of a transition rack. Again, these scratches are not structural in any way. In addition, there is a small area of wear in the clear coat near the front end of the bike where the cable for the front brake is routed and would scrape the frame during sharp turns. The bike under went routine maintenance, often once a month. The crankset still has plenty of life left, the teeth are not wearing down yet.

The bike will be professionally packed and shipped
Components:
Shifters- Shimano Dura-Ace
Brake Levers- TRP carbon
Crankset- FSA SL-K Light
Front/Rear Derailleur- Shimano Dura-Ace
Brakes- Tektro Quartz

Included are: Frameset (frame, fork, all components)

Not included is: wheels (Vuelta Corsa SuperLite), Adamo Prologue saddle, Shimano Ultegra pedals
If you are interested in the wheels, Adamo or pedals in addition to the bike, let me know and maybe we can work something out.

If you end up parting it out, I'd be interested in the basebar/aerobar set up.

Some mistakes I made during the Hawaii Ironman 70.3. Don't be caught out on the course not knowing how or not having the equipment to change a flat tire.

I'm on the other side of the college-student desk. I'm the one with the red pen in my hand. Those of us with schedules that change from day to day actually have an advantage, I think.

Out of this frustration, the first annual Denver Community College Triathlon was born. It was open to all employees of the campus, with a 30 dollar entrance fee for the campus scholarship fund.
