Went out hard, got a little slower each mile, I did manage to run it in to the finish, hard. Great first race. My goal was sub-10 pace. Made that. Stretch goal was sub-30 time. Not quite, next time. My friend Karen came up for Thanksgiving from VA with me and she paced me and helped me keep on track.
