Subject: New to Endurance Sports! Hi All,
I wanted to reach out to everyone and say hi. I have been reading the forums for about a month and finished my first training day from the Couch-to-Sprint training plan today. I am registered for my first sprint tri on the weekend of April 23rd.
A little bit more about me. I have absolutely no endurance sport background. My athletic background consists of a football lineman 10+ years ago. All of my training has been anaerobic workouts and Olympic-style weightlifting. I am now 35, weigh 228lbs, have a family and have spent little time in the gym recently. I am excited for this new challenge and look forward to seeing results both in how my body reacts to the new training and to my official times in April.
