Bike: Long sleeve compression top versus arm warmers, +/- wind vest, rubberized garden gloves, socks on the bike, probably leg warmers.
Run: Shed everything except the LS compression top and the gloves.
What you have going for you is that this is max effort so you are going to be producing a ton of heat but if you are wet and going 23+ MPH on the bike you are going to get cold. I hate being cold. I would rather lose a minute or two in transition and not be miserably, freezing cold on the bike. 43 degrees is a great temp for a 2 mile all-out run. |
