 Subject: going wide - tiresI recently moved to a cyclocross bike and with it came some 700x35 CX tires as well as a pair of 700x25 Schwalbe Durano road tires. I have put the Durano's on from time to time but they seem really rough and most recently I just left the CX tires on while riding on the road. Surprisingly the 35's arent that much slower but they are also much much more comfortable on the somewhat rough roads around where I live.
When I look for "decent" road tires in 700x35 I am confronted with mainly CX tires or what look to be crappy hybrid tires. Can anyone recommend big tires? I am not looking for ultra high end race tires just something for training and a couple of 100km rides that I have coming up.
