Subject: Semi-New Triathlete; New to BT Hi everyone!
New to BT; just turned 25 on Sunday and have been endurance training for about three and a half years now. Former Division I hockey player who is now an engineer and golfer.
Started training in December of 2013 for my first half-marathon. To date have completed ten half-marathons, and one sprint tri. Next sprint triathlon is 6/27. Bought a Trek Madone road bike in May 2015; just put Profile Design TF3+ Aero Bars on it and I love them.
Currently at 188 pounds; was up to 250 before I started being serious about diet after my last DI season in 2011. Plans to get to 177 by end of August are on track.
Current goals are to continue swim/bike/running for the rest of the year, and to do my first Olympic this summer. Also planning on running a marathon in October. Next year I hope to complete a Half-IM and see where the rest of my training takes me! 2016 distance goals are 1500 miles by foot and 1500 by bike (it snows a lot, in Ohio! ).
