Subject: 7.13.16 What Up Wednesday!

Hey BT!

5:30am:  stretching, rolling out tight legs in preparation for a tough ride today.  After chasing my CC runners I'm packing up and heading west.  I am going to do a 24 mile round trip mountain bike ride--the kicker is in the first 12 miles I'll climb 3,000 feet--starting at 5,400ft and ending up at glacial lake 8,400ft. I've run this route twice (it is a half marathon--we just run up) but I've always wanted to bike it.  The last five miles climb the most with a 6.6% average grade. The way down should be epic!

After that I'm pulling a pseudo-Jamie and heading even further west to go hiking up in Lamoille Canyon tomorrow morning.  A big solo adventure! My youngest daughter is leaving to North Dakota with a friend--we both have parents in Bismarck so my daughter is going to spend about 3 weeks visiting.  My hubby and older daughter are flying out to Louisville, KY for a campus visit at Spalding University (one of the many schools recruiting her for softball) so I have a very rare opportunity to go do whatever I'd like!  And what I'd like to do is have an adventure!

Have a great day!

all that sounds amazing Kim! What a blast! definitely take advantage of your time alone!

5:30am - 5.5 mile run with some strength work mixed in at the park on the way back

Going to PT at 10, then hoping to get to the pool. Summer hours are a little wacky and it's hard to fit in sometimes.

Have a great day!!

Kim- Have fun on the trip

I had a nice 5 mile run with intervals and intervals in the pool. I did 30 x 50's. The swimming was hard. The heat remains in OK. It makes the workouts tough.

I'm on the other side of the college-student desk. I'm the one with the red pen in my hand. Those of us with schedules that change from day to day actually have an advantage, I think.
