I passed. Raced it last year when it was non-IM at a much cheaper price. IM comes and and jacks the price up and I'm out. It's still produced by the same great local race company. Should be a good event.

What was it called last year? Not ringing a bell, Capitalview?

It was ran as Milkman or something to that effect last year.

Ah, thank you. If I recall, they ran it 1 time as Milkman, before switching over to IM 70.3. What a great opportunity for Wisconsinites! Can't make the weekend in 2017, but definitely on my list.

Keep in mind that it shares no part of the full Ironman course.

I did it last year and it was a great event. It doesn't have a pro field this year however so I will not be competing.

Not in for this year, but anyone know how fast the general entries sold out?

I would love to come and defend my title. The reality is too many people get all up in arms when I race an Ironman race that isn't a pro-race. Last year it wasn't owned by Ironman but I had a blast. The "milk-jugging" instead of "champaign" was a unique twist.

Much longer then most expected, think it sold out late winter.
