Subject: Slight Knee Pain Hello all,
I've found myself in an interesting situation here, and I'm not sure what the best course of action is. About a year ago I injured myself with an improper bike fit. I went on a 500 mile bike tour over the course of a week, and by the end I had terrible knee pain. After PT and a lot of rest my knee pain disappeared.
I signed up for a triathlon series this summer, and I started training last week. My knee pain has started to come back slightly from running. It's not very painful at all, but definitely noticeable. It doesn't hurt when I run, but my knees are sore after. Should I continue running in the hope that I just need to strengthen my muscles around my knees, or do I need to stop training entirely? Any tips would be appreciated! |
