Subject: RE: Trail mix as race fuelIn an HIM for me, the nuts would be too filling & slow acting. Still racing with at least a moderate effort to near hard. Raisins might cause some GI issues too. I also tend to prefer something easier to grab, i.e. not in little pieces. For an easier long or all day thing, then it might work great. People vary a lot with nutrition tolerances, so YMMV. |
