Had a short 3 mile run this morning since I have a race Sunday.

Weight and core training after the run.

Prayers to all the BT friends in Florida. Stay safe.

Good Morning BT!

5:45 AM - I had a medium 8 mile run since my race isn't until next Saturday.  This week is the county fair.  We checked-in 22 animals for the live exhibits yesterday.  That took two hours and really should count for some type of work out.  Moving the 35 lbs turkey was the the only time I think a broke a sweat though.   :-)

Hello. 1 hour strength session for me at lunch. Tomorrow, I have the first group bike ride that I will have attended in probably 3 years. Looking forward to it.

Just found out my race was cancelled due to Irma. Many of the Police that work the race have been called out to National Guard or other areas. Gas is also a worry for people traveling to race.

Oh well

That's is the worst thing I have heard all day.  Make me sick to the stomach when I hear of races being canceled the day before they are supposed to take place.

Evening run, 6 miles. Had stomach pains but toughed it out, did a few sprints just to push the torture limits. Ended up better then expected averaging 9:58 to finish it up at 59:58.
