Hi Everyone,

So, my first sprint tri is in three months! eeek.

Currently I'm OK with the biking and swimming but am an awful newbie runner.
I have a soft tissue injury in hip due to a car accident 16 months ago but trying to push through to get fitness back. Would love advice on running (currently doing couch to 5k app), and generally like to read about what others are doing.

Lucy

Good luck Lucy. The couch to 5K is a good way to start and as you work through the injury be smart and listen to what your body is saying. Plus if you already have the swim and bike licked you have a good headstart!

It's no shame to walk part or all of the run portion if you have to. I walked 60% of the run portion of a HIM after jacking up my calf days before the race. I still finished and had a blast...that's what it's all about.

Good luck with your race.
