Subject: Wetsuit recommendations
I need to purchase a wetsuit and am not sure where to even start lol. Any suggestions on brands or styles, preferably for clydesdale-sized dudes?

I have a Roka suit...it has a good reputation for quality.  I would wait for a sale or look at other distributors to see if you can get better pricing.

Xterra advertises on this site and they have some economical choices.  Can't tell you anything about how they perform or hold up.

Huub, TYR, AquaSphere, Orca all have good suits...I'd look on Amazon or Swimoutlet for reviews and prices of their suits.

I bought a base model Synergy from wetsuitoutlet.com years ago, and i have no complaints. Has worked great for me for around $200.

I have used Xterra with no issues.
Sign up for their newsletter and you get notified when they have big sales.

Same full sleeve for 3 years and no problems.
Used a sleeveless before that and no issues.

It can be so tough trying to find the right wet-suit! Usually takes a couple of brands before you find the ideal fit.
I would recommend considering anti chafe the first few times you use the new wet-suit whatever brand you go with.

These guys have an IRONMAN wet-suit safe anti-chafe which you can slap on to protect the skin from rubbing. https://www.bexters.com.au/pages/chafing

Worth grabbing some, especially as being "clydesdale sized" , there might be some discomfort!
