I’m talking the Alabama Crimson Tide! In Orlando and saw Alabama roll over KY like a crimson tide last night. Having said that....they have much room for improvement. The defense secondary needs work and they got killed with penalties. This is my son’s final year at Alabama Law School so hoping they get one more National Championship or at least another SEC championship.

As far as the blue wave vs red wave....I have no idea. Both sides seem to be very motivated. I fear if Dems take either house the Congress will be gridlocked for the next 2 years.

Roll Tide and MAGA.

Settle  down......the Tide didn't beat Kentucky.....they rolled over Louisville.  LOL

I don't think you'll see a national championship this year in Sabanland.

Yeah Louisiville....KY. :-)

Q. Is the capital of KY pronounced “Louie-ville” or “Louis-ville”?

A. It’s pronounced “Frankfort”.

Been getting people to fall for that since the 5th grade.

Too early to say if AL is any good this year. Need to see them play some SEC games and see how they do. It was interesting that Tua and Hurt both got play time as did some other QB I’ve never heard of. Running game was not great and the defense allowed several catches with zero coverage.

It's early.  Your team will be stout, as usual......but as much as I REALLY hate to say this......I think Ohio State will be great this year.  In the SEC, Georgia will be a problem.  I can't believe Clemson is ranked as high as they are going into the season.  No to any ACC team!!  Same with the PAC-10.....just sit down and shut up.  I think Nebraska will surprise some people this year as well.

Go SEC!!

edit:  Best game this weekend?  Maryland......MARYLAND...beats Texas.  LMAOOOOOOOOOOO

Fork Texas football!!

Like the man who fell off a 16 story building as he passed each floor, "So far, so good!".

'Bama rolled over Arkansas State like a Crimson Tide! Saban's big dilemma is which star QB to start? I think he is making the right decision by starting Tua to take an early lead and then use Jalen to 'save' Tua. Unfortunately Alabama does not play a top ranked team until November when they face LSU.

BTW, NE lost to Colorado Saturday.

RE Ohio: "Bama passes Ohio St. for most weeks at No. 1. Alabama made its 106th overall appearance at the top of the AP rankings, which started in 1936, passing Ohio State for the most by any school."

Without question your boys have an easy schedule. Still, they've only played teams from the Little Sisters of the Poor Conference so it's hard to say how they'll stack up. I wouldn't overlook A & M though.....they're good. If they roll over that squad I'll be a believer.  Still,  I'm officially tired of 'Bama and Saban.....we'll see.

I'm REALLY disappointed in the Nebraska loss.....geez.

So Alabama squeaked by the Rajun Canjuns....49 - 0 at half time. Tua taken our after first quarter....Hurts continued to run up the score so they put in their 3rd string QB. I think Tua is the best QB in college football right now. He was 8 for 8 on Saturday.

My only concern is the Alabama defense. For years, their defense dominated the games....now the offense is dominating and I'm seeing a lot of missed tackles by their defense.....if that happens against a ranked team, they are in trouble. They still have to get past LSU (5) and Auburn (8).

If it makes you feel better, I had a dream that Bama loses to LSU. I don't know why, because college football isn't even on my radar.

Note that a lot of my dreams are premonitions. It happens with plane crashes. I'll dream of a plane crash and within 3 days, a commercial jet will auger in somewhere.

Maybe it's not premonitions....maybe you are causing the crashes? When you go to bed tonight repeat 10 times, "Alabama destroys LSU, Alabama destroys LSU, Alabama destroys LSU, Alabama destroys LSU....." as you drift off to sleep.

Sooooooo......you dreamed that Nebraska crashed into a tree, which fell on the bus, which started the bus on fire and then caused an earthquake that caused the Earth to swallow up the bus?

I'd likely cause some rip in the space time continuum by messing with an outcome that has already been settled. Not to mention some bludgeony dreams with all that 'destroying' talk.

Updated odds to win the CFB Championship:

Alabama -130
Clemson +450
Ohio State +500
Georgia +700
Notre Dame +1000
Texas/Washington +2000
Michigan/West Virginia +2500
Oklahoma/Penn State/Wisconsin +3300
UCF +4000
Miami +5000
Colorado/Florida/LSU +10000

Only two obstacles between AL and perfect regular season, LSU and Auburn.

I was disappointed Bama's defense gave up so many points. They really need to work on defense. I was surprised LSU lost to FL but was really surprised that dropped them 8 places in the ranking. It was 27-19 so not a blowout.

Championship game still a long way off and lots of things can happen.....

The LSU/GA game was fun to watch. Seems like the only teams that can give SEC teams any competition are other SEC teams. :-)

Bama should walk over TN next week....and have a week off before facing LSU. Brilliant move by whomever schedules the games. Give Alabama 2 weeks to prepare for a game and they are dangerous.

I'll give you one thing....you went out on a limb. NE was a surprise but not the way I think you meant. Guess the early polls were right about Clemson. Alabama even exceeded my expectations! I knew Tua and the offence would score against LSU but was surprised that to see the shut out. I watch the highlights and was amazed at how many times LSU was in the red zone and failed to score. SEC championship, AL/GA should be a good game. Clemson humiliated Louisville....even worse than AL did. Maybe they were sending AL a message?

So Alabama finishes a perfect regular season. Whoot! Should be a good game with GA. I don't think it will be a blowout. Two weeks in a row Bama started off slow in the first half and then dominated the second half. I would love to hear what went on in the locker room at half time.

The LSU/Texas A&M game was epic. 7 overtimes is just ridiculous! Almost 5 hrs of game time.

Ohio State and Michigan swap places in the polls.

Top 3 teams are undefeated and pretty much a lock for the playoffs. There will be at least one SEC team in the playoffs to be determined next Saturday. But....if GA beats Bama, there could conceivably be two SEC teams!

Roll Tide!

Notre Dame doesn't belong in the tournament....they'll be one and done.

My guess is either Oklahoma or Ohio State gets the fourth slot.  Either of those teams, 'Bama, and Clemson will all beat the pants off of ND.

My next-door neighbors were there. Their oldest is in the Corps and his squadron had some function on the field. They had 50 yd line seats. Haven't talked to the yet as they got in late last night. I'm sure I will get a first person, highly animated replay of the game!

Was looking at ESPN/NCAA football page and ND does not have another game scheduled. Why is that? All the other top teams have played 12 games and have one more scheduled? Does their conference only have one division? If so, then the 13th game, w or l, should not be a factor, right?
