I can't get away from the heat and humidity. My own fault for not leaving earlier in the day. But Sundays run won't likely start until 10:30, best just to suck it up and get some walking in there.
6:00 AM - 5-mile mid tempo run. The definition that I have on "mid tempo" run is something like 10-15 sec/mi over 10K pace. Since my 10K pace is just over 6:00 min/mile that would be a 6:10-6:15 min/mile pace. I have just been doing this at the top of my L2 Heart Rate pace wich is more like 7:15 min.mi pace. It feel I get the intended purpose of the workout at that pace.
At lunch, I got to the pool for 4x300 yds for a 1200s.
