Comments: I felt good throughout the entire run. This was a long training run for me. I ran about 2 miles before the race and I wasn't trying to set any records. My goal was to run even splits which I did pretty well. I definitely could have gone faster and/or farther, but felt good all day What would you do differently?: nothing ![]() Post race
Warm down: Walked to the car and drove to Morgan's soccer game What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing - I wasn't trying to run fast Event comments: This is a pretty low frills event. Probably 150-175 runners. Nice technical Tshirt. I would have liked to have another water stop or two, espcially if you were really pushing it. I got done before the majority of runners and didn't wait around top see what all was going on after the race. They did have some vegetarian chili out for finishers - but it was only 8:45 in the morning and I couldn't bring myself to try it. This is a great race to do as atraining run, though. Nice hilly course. Start/Finish at a nice park with plenty of parking. Will do this again in the future. Last updated: 2006-11-01 12:00 AM

Ate a bowl of oatmeal, drank a bottle of water and drove to the race site
Got to the site, checked in, ran about 2 miles at a little over 8 minute pace to get warm and get in a couple of extra miles
