I REALLY want a LIVE STRONG bracelet!

I have called every store in OKC area, lol, and they are all gone. If anyone gets some in I will let ya know.

LAF is catching up on their orders. I placed an order in July and just got mine in last week. Maybe they will be a little quicker getting them.

I also found a truck load of the bracelets at the Nike outlet store in Ellenton, FL. They also had the Livestrong t-shirts for $10. They didn't have many sizes (all XL), but at least they had them.

I can't believe that people have them on Ebay, and are selling them for a profit. They are supposed to go to LAF for research and you know that the people on Ebay are not donating any of the profits.

Oh I agree with you about that! You KNOW that they aren't donating.

Yeah, I can't find any in KC either. I placed an order at wearyellow.com about 3 weeks ago, so maybe in a month I will have them.

I have seen the ones for sale on ebay and at first I was upset by how much they were going for, but then I thought about it and really the people that are selling them, had to pay for them to get them, so the $1 is going to the LAF for each of them. After that, if they can sell them on ebay and make some money, then why not? Isn't that what capitalism is? Supply and Demand? Anyway, if someone stole boxes of them and then nothing was going to the LAF then that would suck, but if they are legit and someone is willing to pay $12 for a $1 item, then that is their fault, not the people that are selling them. . .

If I could go around and buy something for a $100 and know that I could sell it for $1200, then I would and I bet you would too.

Now, I plan on giving my bracelets to those I know and not selling them on ebay.

I just think it is kind of shady. Because the people buying the bands from ebay, are not having that donation go to LAF.

I understand the idea of capitalism, but I also think it is somewhat like charging $2.25 for gas, we technically don't have to buy, we can get around in other ways, but they do it anyway.

Maybe part of me is just upset because I have been waiting on my bands for a month.

I saw Lance on Leno last night and he said that they had 5 million on back order currently.  They LAF/Livestrong Foundation are shocked at the number sold.  They really didn't expect much more than a million sold when they were delivered 5 million to start.  So far over 12 million have been sold.
