You look at the newspaper vending machines at the SRT Light Rail Station at Watt/Mangrove, and the headline in the San Francisco Chronicle is about a rogue elephant seal that's bit a surfer and attacked a dog:

I saw that this morning.  One of the bus drivers bought a paper and I heard him say, as he walked away with it, "OH, look, he's even got a gun!"
