Subject: RE: Is this too crazy? Thanks for the reply. As far as training for the century ride as of now I am doing about 7 to 10 mile daily plus a longer ride on the weekends. This last weekend I did 35.77 mile in about 3 hours, most of it was uphill grades (the return was AMAZING ). My plan is to do anywhere between 100 to 150 mile a week, that includes my long ride. This weekend I will be pounding out 40 miles which as some hills but mostly is flat & fast. My overall goal for the ride is just to finish, I would like under 7 hours.
As far as tri training last night my wife and I went to the gym and did a 400 meter swim-15min, 10 mile bike-35 min, 2 mile run/walk-20 min. This was not the most wise training time I could have had (9:30 at night ) I am a little dead today, but I did ride my 7.32 miles to work this morning.
Anyways, I am new to all this stuff and need all the pointers I can get. If you have any comments, please feel free to let me know.
