Subject: Viewing Daily Nutrition Breakdown (Vitamins, Minerals)
I've just started playing around with the nutrition logging and it's a great feature that I didn't really knew existed!  My question is about the daily reports which show cals, carbs, protein, fat.  Is there any way to view a daily breakdown that also includes vitamins and minerals?  I know you can ask for a custom weekly or monthly, but I'm really just looking to print out what I took in that day (beyond just the carb/protein/fat breakdown).  Is this possible?  Thanks!

Of course!

First, go to your log control panel:

Halfway down, you can configure lots of nutrients for the custom nutrient reports.

Save it.

Then when you go to the 'week' or 'month' reports, select 'nutrition', you will see daily breakdowns.

If you need a tutorial, see Calorie Counter and Nutrition Logging - Instructions and Features

Since you are using this info to see a sports nutritionists (from your blog entry), I want to mention that on the non-carb/protien/fat nutrients, (vitamins and minerals), the reported values will probably be lower than what you actually eat.

The USDA database is not as complete with vitamins and minerals in the food profiles, so if it has no data, it counts it as 'zero'.  Although you can check what foods have the data you want as you log them by looking at the food label.

See About the Nutrition Log and Data Interpretation for more information on this.

Let us know if any questions.
