Swim
Comments: I was in beginner group and passed about 30 people. I never thought swimming was a strong area for me, but I felt wonderful and could have went on another 400. What would you do differently?: I guess I should have been in intermediate group. Transition 1
Comments: I took my time, it was ok. What would you do differently?: nothing really Bike
Comments: I got one shoe clipped in and couldn't get the other one in while I was being passed, I finally got it in and took off. I feel I did better than I expected to. Pavement was very wet and my shoes were heavy and soaked from the rain, the traffic was ridiculous and dangerous. What would you do differently?: Get my second shoe clipped in quicker and I probably needed to push myself a bit harder. Transition 2
Comments: legs were numb and butt was killing me, don't know why. but still took off at a decent pace for me. What would you do differently?: I don't know yet. Run
Comments: Ok, run is not my fav thing to do, but it wasn't hot and wasn't a hard course so what can I say. What would you do differently?: run faster Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: my mind. Event comments: It was run well and everyone was encouraging, for my first race it was a good one to start with. They should have controlled traffic better. All my times may change a bit once we get the results, they had some kind of clitch with their system and said they would post them on their site within 48 hours. So, all these times are from my IM triathlon watch my daughter got me for Mothers Day, I think I was right on with the times. I will make any changes when we get the official results. Let me say - I loved this, the whole competitive spirit and the three diciplines... well have I said this is for me, I learned alot about myself today and I like what I learned.:):) WELL THE RESULTS FINALLY CAME IN AND I'M 3 MIN. FASTER THAN WHAT I HAD DETERMINED... THEY DIDN'T GIVE BREAKDOWN SO I DON'T KNOW WHERE I WAS FASTER. OH WELL, I WILL TAKE IT! Last updated: 2007-05-06 12:00 AM

Went through checklist night before and checked it again in the morning.
Took bike to transition area, it was a parking space and two were in one space, I was with my daughter. I ate nature valley bar and banana and stayed very hydrated. Oh yes, and I said my prayers.
I just warmed up one lap up and back in 50 m pool.
