Comments: 61 for gender What would you do differently?: do more speed practice for swimming. Transition 1
Comments: I think my first transition went well. What would you do differently?: bring a towel and wear my gloves for a cold race. Bike
Comments: 46 for gender. What would you do differently?: nothing. I think I did very well. I'll keep up the training. Transition 2
Comments: didnt run so much as speedwalk. What would you do differently?: should've taken feet out of clips before reaching transition area. Run
Comments: legs felt odd for the first mile. breathing was fine, but legs would not run faster What would you do differently?: do more real bricks and practice running for speed, not distance. Post race
Warm down: walking around & talking to parents. What limited your ability to perform faster: not enough speed work and not enough bricks. Event comments: I think this was a wonderful first race. the swimming and running was just right for my skill level, and the biking was very very easy (yay for being used to Pittsburgh's hills).
